About Me

Hi, I’m Kate — the face behind What Kate Likes Photography. I’m a fashion, personal branding and commercial photographer based in Teesside, working across North Yorkshire, the North East and beyond.

With over six years of experience behind the lens, fashion photography is at the heart of what I do. My style combines a candid, editorial approach with a love of movement, natural moments and the little details that bring an image to life.

I hold an NCFE Level 2 qualification in photography and proudly serve on the media team for York Fashion Week. I’ve also had the opportunity to attend London Fashion Week, experiences that have helped shape my eye for fashion-led storytelling.

Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with designers and creatives, working on lookbooks, campaigns, backstage coverage and runway photography. I love working collaboratively to understand a brand’s vision and create imagery that feels stylish, authentic and true to them.

Alongside my fashion work, I now bring that same editorial approach to personal branding and commercial photography.
